A Good Day in Murud with Buddies

Murud-Janjira, a nice & clean beach is just 30 kms away from Roha. I had been to Murud when I was a kid. Now almost after 15 years it was great to visit such a nice place. This trip made a very nice change in our daily hectic routine. It was originally planned with my best buddies (Aditya, Manit and Aneesh). But Aneesh’s wife (Prajakta) also joined us which was a wonderful surprise for us. We had a very great time in Murud, and at Birla Temple.

And this is how our trip started . We left Roha at 4:10pm and reached Murud at 5 o’clock with as usual smooth driving by Aneesh. We had a nice long beach walk along with some drinks. We happened to see some star fish on the beach in a no time. It was special to click some photos with the star fish in hand. It was obvious to have Bhel puri wala on the beach. And how could we miss this chance of not having Bhel puri and Ice gola. It felt special and relaxing to gaze at the sunset while we were having our little snack. We left Murud at around 7 and moved towards Birla Temple. We took Darshan of God Ganesha and started returning to Roha. Towards the end of our journey, while driving back we had some funny and serious chat on our childhood memories. We were just feeling happy and re-energised with this short and sweet trip. It was truly a great evening with my friends. I hope we will plan our next trip soon…….
